Crystal Jordan

Crystal Nicole Jordan better known as “Cotton ball” was born on January 29,1985 to Charlie and Anna Jordan of Corapeake, NC.  Crystal departed from life February 27, 2019 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC at the age of 34.

At an early age Crystal joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Sunbury NC. She graduated from Gates County High School in 2003. Later after graduation she obtain her CDL’s where she was employed with the Gates County Board of Education. She was employed with the Board of Education for many years until she sought employment at Rescare Home Care in Elizabeth City, NC.   

Crystal always enjoyed cooking for friends and family whether it was for holidays or just get togethers.  She always had that kind, caring heart and enjoyed helping others.   Crystal loved to travel, swimming, going to the beach, and playing softball.  Her generous spirit and sense of humor will truly be missed.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories; daughter Kendra L. Jordan, her Parents Charlie and Anna Jordan. Her Grandparents Harry Lee and Ethel Harrell of Corapeake, NC. Two Sisters; Melissa Jordan, and Jessica Jordan of Corapeake, NC.  Three nieces; Malana, Symeriah, Zymeriah. Five nephews; Malaki, Nymeir, Rymeir, Tymeir, Malik.  She also leave to cherish her Godmother; Danielle Knight and a close childhood friend, and best friend Felisha Walton, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Relatives and Friends.

The family will receive family, friends and members of the community on Wednesday March 6, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at St. Paul Baptist Church.  A celebration of life will take place on Thursday March 7, 2019 at 1:00pm at St. Paul Baptist Church.  She will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.
