In 1982 she took her love of fashion, design and retail to the next level; Entrepreneurship. She opened “Elizabeth’s Boutique’; a women’s retail and custom clothing shop in Mount Vernon, NY. Elizabeth quickly became successful in the retail business, not just because of the quality of her products and work but  because of her kindness, warmth and infectious smile. Keeping the community always looking their very best brought her such joy and great fulfillment. Elizabeth became an active and dedicated member of St. John A.M.E. She was the church’s Health Coordinator and was consecrated as a Deaconess in 2016. She was also a very dedicated member of the “ Order of the Golden Circle”. Her love of family, friends, God and community was always the driving force behind everything she did.
