Alvin M Boone

Mr. Alvin Maurice Boone, was born on March 13, 1968 to the late Mrs. Ella Mae Boone and Mr. Arthur Boone in Suffolk, Virginia.  He departed this life on November 11, 2017.  He attended the public schools of Gates County where he was a 1986 graduate of Gates County High School.  He attended Elizabeth City College and later served in the Army Reserves.  He was employed with Ciba Specialty Chemicals for over twenty-five years as a Senior Plant Operator (SPO).  Alvin leaves fond memories that will forever be cherished to his father, Arthur T. Boone; three sons, Lennell Skeeter, Alfred Boone, and Raquan Wiggins; six brothers, Thomas Boone, Barry Boone (Sineathia), George Griffin, Charles Griffin, Michael Griffin (Gina), and Corey Griffin (Lisa); five sisters, Denise Boone (Cleveland), Brenda Boone, Johnette Harris (Joe), Gloria Griffin, Sherri Reid (William), 18 nieces and nephews, 8 great nieces and nephews, along with a host of cousins and friends. Alvin was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Boone.

A viewing and visitation for Mr. Boone will take place on Wednesday November 15, 2017 from 4:00p to 8:00p at Community of Hope Funeral Service, Hobbsville, NC.

Mr. Boone's celebration of life will take place on Thursday November 16, 2017 at 1:00p at Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church in Corapeake, NC.
