Arnold Boone

Arnold "Ace" Boone was born on May 16, 1971, in Ahoskie, NC, to the late Peggy Fields Boone Knight and the late Cordie Boone. He attended Gates County Public Schools and graduated from Gates County High School in 1989. Arnold worked as a truck driver for 28 years.

Ace was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, an enthusiastic motorcycle rider, and a member of the Nexx II Nun Ryderz MC, where he served as the Rode Captain. He was a down to earth lovable person that enjoyed life. He loved his family and always greeted you with a smile. 

Arnold is survived  by his loving stepmother, Robin "Cookie" Boone of Gates, NC; children: Arnold Boone of Waverly, VA, Ariel Kocher of Norfolk, VA,  Anthony Pierce of Franklin, VA, Adasia Boone of Franklin, VA, and Antonio Britt of Elizabeth City, NC; a grandson, Amari Boone. He is cherished by his siblings: Damon Boone of Gates, NC, Travis Hale of Norfolk, VA, Calandra Hale of Durham, NC and Nicole Stephens of Franklin, VA;  his uncle, Calvin Fields (Shirley) of Williamston, NC; a special cousin, Gregory Saunders of Raleigh, NC, and many family and friends. 

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at New Middle Swamp Missionary Baptist Church, Corapeake, NC at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Boone's final resting place will be New Middle Swamp Baptist Church cemetery.
