Crystal Hall Obituary

Crystal K. Hall, 32 of Plainfields, IL peacefully transitioned from this life on September 4, 2020 with her loving family by her side.

Crystal was born in Brooklyn, New York to Marsha L. Hall and Richard A. Hall.  However, she was raised the better part of her childhood in Richmond, Virginia and later the family made Plainfield, Illinois their home.

Crystal graduated from Minooka High School in Minooka, Illinois in 2005 and attended Joliet Junior College.  She loved to read and regularly traded books with her cousin, Ashley.  Crystal's other passion was arts and crafts and spent much of her time with her daughter, Nadia, creating beautiful artwork.

Crystal was working with her parents in the family business as the manager in charge of the customer experience.  She was the face of the business, the first point of contact for all the customers.  Crystal managed each customer professionally and with grace, while often managing difficult business situations.

If you knew anything about Crystal, you know that she love the Queen B -Beyonce Knowles-Carter.  Like Beyonce, she was our Diva, whose smile lit up the room.  Not only was she beautiful, inside and out, she was kind, thoughtful and loving.  She loved and adored her beautiful daughter, Nadia, and her mother, Marsha, was her best friend.  They did everything mothers and daughters love to do together, shopping, hair, nails, cooking special dishes, and just having plain old fashioned fun!

Crystal was the sparkle in her dad's eyes.  Dad, the pushover, didn't stand a chance with two women and an adorable granddaughter in the house.  Ramel, Crystal would want you to know that she loved you and thank you for being the World's Best Dad!

Crystal is survived by her parents, Richard and Marsha Hall and her daughter, Nadia J. Dodd of Plainfield, IL; her grandmother, Annie J. Nowell of Brooklyn, NY; her grandfather James Hunter of Chesapeake, VA; her aunts, Kimberly Hall of Highland, NY; and Sherry Cooper of Somerset, NJ; her uncles, Terry Andre Coper of Brooklyn, NY; Michael Watkins of Brooklyn, NY; and Todd Watkins of Lancaster, PA; special cousins, Carolyn "Candy" McCoy of Philadelphia, PA; Ashley Caldwell of Somerset, NJ; and Kira, Kayla and Suliman Peterson of Highland, NY; and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.  Crystal's grandparents, John Wallace Hall and Cynthia Joyce Hall, preceded her in death.

A celebration of life will take place on September 15, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Stallings Family Cemetery, in Hobbsville, NC.
