David L Moody

David Lee Moody, 56, was born on January 9, 1962 and he was called home to be with the Lord on March 8, 2018.

David was loved by many and was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Moody, Sr., and brothers, Thomas Moody, Jr., Vernon Moody, William Moody, Samuel Moody; and brother-in-law, Johnnie Taylor.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his wife, Jacqueline Futrell Moody; daughter, Chirmere A. Grant (Alphonso); mother, Alberta Moody; four sisters, Dorothy Rodgers, Sarah Taylor, Lizzie Twine (Joseph), and Bertha Whitehead (James); two grandchildren, Christopher and Beyonce Grant; a special cousin, James Smith aka Buddy James. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.

“My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

 A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 1pm at Apostolic Holiness Church of Faith

Sunbury, NC 
Burial will follow at the church cemetery. 
Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 4-7pm at the funeral home
