Mrs. Frances V. Chamblee 62, well known to everyone as “Lil Bit” transitioned from earth to Glory on Wednesday February 22, 2023. Frances was a native of Suffolk, VA, but resided in Sunbury NC. She was born on July 16th, 1960, to the late Frank and Anne Cross. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Cross and Wayne Cross and a God sister, Dorothy Knight.
Frances was employed at Baron’s Grill until it closed, then worked at Corapeake Country until health issues. She was a faithful member of Believer’s Victory Center where she served on the usher board and hospitality committee. Frances never met a stranger, and everyone was a cousin. She loved cooking and feeding everyone. But the most important thing to her was her husband, children, and grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She enjoyed football and especially loved “Dem Boyz”. The Dallas Cowboys was her team.
