George Kee Obituary

A time to be born: On March 7, 1968, Allen Sr. & Rebecca Kee was truly blessed with a healthy baby boy. He was the 14th child of fourteen. George’s Christian parents took him to church at an early age, where he learned about the life of Christ. George was baptized at an early age and upon his illness, he gave his life to Christ.

George (AKA) Smooth was educated within the Gates County Public School System. He also completed Job Corp and the pro-logger certification course.

As he entered adulthood, he held various job positions such as farming, landscaper, Gates County Social Service Contractor, Newport News Shipyard employee and a logger to support himself as well as his family for many decades.

In 2000, he was united with Katina Lynette Burke Kee, and to this union four children were born.

He leaves his precious memories to his loving wife, Katina; four children: George Lee Kee, Jr., Hobbsville, NC, Josiah Donte’ Kee, Fort Sill, OK, Ja’Quisha Shonta Kee, Hobbsville, NC, Ke'Ryen M.
