Henry Jordan

Henry (Mr. B.) Jordan, 97,  was born on August 17, 1920 to the late Johnny and Viola Cullins Jordan. He departed his earthly life on October 24, 2017. He attended school in Gates County and joined Blanchard’s Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

He married the late Ruth Wilson Jordan who preceded him in death on September 28, 2002. Also, preceding him in death was a grandson, Marquis Jordan, three sisters; Pernell, Edna, and Mary Elizabeth and a son-in-law, John Parks..

Left to cherish his precious memories are three daughters; Ruth Paulette Rush (Roosevelt), Patricia Parks, and Doris Jean Holley (Herman). Eight grandchildren; Keith, Roger, & Eric Holley of Hobbsville, Herman, Jr. (Ericka) of Belvidere, Karen of Sunbury, Crystal Harrington of Washington, NC, Jovan Parks of Hobbsville, Shawn Jordan (Donneak) of Charlotte, NC. Three great grandchildren; Brian, Kalani, and JaNyiah. One great great grandson; Kesean Holley. Three step-grandchildren; Donna Totten (David) of Pelham, NC, Anthony Beasley of Durham, NC and Sammy Beasley of Courtland, Va. Three step-great great grandchildren. Two sisters; Marion Overton of Hobbsville and  Ellen Eason of Hobbsville, along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

 Those wishing to greet the family can join them  for a visitation at Community of Hope Funeral Service on Friday October 27, 2017 from 3:00p-8:00p.

A graveside service at the Jordan Family Cemetery will take place on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 1:00p.
