Herbert M. Bond

Herbert M. Bond was born on October 31, 1935, in Gates County, North Carolina.  On July 22, 2025, he peacefully transitioned from this life, surrounded by the love and presence of his devoted family.

Herbert was known for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.  Throughout his life, he touched many with his kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit.  Herbert will be deeply missed but never forgotten.  His legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A public viewing and visitation will be held on Friday July 25, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00p, at the funeral home, where family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 26, 2025, 11am at New Middle Swamp Baptist Church.

Final resting place will be held at New Middle Swamp Church Cemetery.
