Imogene S Freeman

Imogene S. Freeman, a beloved mother and cherished member of our community, peacefully transitioned from this life at the age of 98 on Sunday June 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughters by her bedside.

Imogene led a beautiful and fulfilling life, marked by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family.  Born on August 7, 1925, she grew up with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of compassion.  Her life was a tapestry of wonderful experiences and treasured memories, woven with love and joy.  Imogene greatest pride and joy were her two daughters, who stood by her side in her final moments.  She touched the lives of many with her radiant smile and nurturing spirit.

She will be greatly missed.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 2 pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Final resting place for Mrs. Freeman will be at Savage Family Cemetery, Gatesville.
