James "Mike" Cross

The Cross family and Community of Hope announce the transition of our beloved James "Mike" Cross, 55, of Capital Heights, Maryland.

'Mike" peacefully transitioned from this life on Monday, August 14, 2023, with his loving family by his side.

He will truly be missed by so many, please keep the entire Cross family in your prayers.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, 10am at The Sanctuary At Kingdom Square in Upper Marlboro, MD

Promptly at 11am we will begin to celebrate a wonderful man and a life well lived. Immediately following the Celebration of Life service, Mr. Cross physical temple along with his adored family will be escorted back to his hometown of Gates Co.

On Friday, September 8, 2023, a viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home from 3pm-6pm, and then on Saturday, September 9, 2023, 12 noon we will have final Committal Rites and burial at New Piney Wood Chapel Church cemetery in Gates, NC.
