Kevin Beasley

Kevin Antonio Beasley was born on October 7, 1968, the son of the late Gloria Beasley Cann. He departed this life on August 21, 2021 in Suffolk, Va after a long illness.

Kevin was a member of Blanchard’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he enjoyed worshipping, fellowshipping, and studying the Bible.

Kevin was united in marriage to Schardi J. Beasley on April 14, 2000.

Kevin was a craftsman who enjoyed poetry, music, painting, and drawing. More than those things, Kevin loved his family and was willing to help anyone.

Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Beasley Cann, his stepfather, William B. Cann, his grandfather, Eugene Beasley and grandmother Gloria Vaughan Beasley who raised him.

Kevin leaves to cherish his fond memories to his loving wife, Schardi J. Beasley of Sunbury, NC; three sons, Todd Beasley of Ahoskie, NC, Bobby and Kevon Beasley of Sunbury, NC; one brother, Lawrence Cann of Johnston, RI; two grandchildren, Todd and Tyler Beasley of Ahoskie, NC; one aunt/sister, Tiffany B. White (Mark) of Atlanta, GA; three uncles, Eugene G. Beasley, Jr. (Mary) of Ahoskie, NC, Douglas Beasley of Elberton, GA, and Stevie Beasley of Windsor, NC; one great aunt, Wendy Jenkins of Ahoskie, NC; three great uncles, Corris Vaughan, Charlie Beasley (Dorothy), Clarence Beasley (Violet) all of Ahoskie, NC; one nephew, Kayden Cann of Johnston, RI, along with a host of cousins, in-laws, and friends.

A viewing and visitation will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm- 6:00 pm at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Blanchard's Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
