La’keven A. Warren was born on December 18, 1981 in Hertford, NC to Barbara Warren and the late Elwood White. He departed this life on May 13, 2017. He attended the public schools of Perquimans County and was a 2001 graduate of Perquimans County High School.
Early in life, La’keven united with New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor James Morring. While under his teachings, La’keven ‘s love for God grew stronger and he served as a deacon in the Deacon’s Ministry.
On February 14, 2009, La’keven married the one God chose just for him, his soulmate, the former Tiffany Jordan. After marriage, he united with the Greater Saunders Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a faithful disciple until his death.
To know La’keven was to love him. He was quiet and humble, yet his smile touched everyone that he encountered. His kind and loving spirit exemplified the Christ that lived within him.
La’keven was employed by Olam Edible Nuts in Edenton, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father Elwood White, and his brother, Shakim Warren.
La’keven leaves precious memories that will be forever cherished to his loving wife, Tiffany Jordan Warren; mother, Barbara Warren of Hertford, NC; four brothers: Conan Warren, Travis Warren of Greensboro, NC, Jerrod Turner (Armesha) of Knightdale, NC, Jaylon Kearse of Edenton, NC; a sister, LaTasha Turner of Elizabeth City, NC; mother-in-law, Rosa Jordan of Tyner, NC; two sisters-in-law, Malissa Ballard of Tyner, NC and Jackie Jordan Lee of Knightdale, NC; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
