Lessie Riddick

Ms. Lessie Riddick better known as "Toast", 103, of Gates, NC transitioned from this life on Wednesday November 22, 2017.  Mrs. Riddick was born March 8, 1914, to the late Lillian Knight and Mills Beamon.  Mrs. Riddick was married to the late Charlie W. Riddick, to this union three children were born.  The only son was the late Ronald A. Riddick, Sr.  Mrs. Riddick loved children and helped everyone.  She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters Beverly and Roma both of Gates, NC, three grandsons, Ronald Riddick, Jr. (Kim) of Chesapeake, Va. Charlie Riddick of Roanoke Rapids, NC, and Isaac Riddick (Shontavia) of Chesapeake, Va, and granddaughter Fanazia Riddick of Gates, NC, one brother-in-law Milton Jones, of Norfolk, Va., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 1:00p at Lebanon Grove Baptist Church in Gatesville, NC.  Ms. Riddick remains will be laid to rest at Lebanon Grove church Cemetery.  A visitation is scheduled for Monday November 27, 2017 at Community of Hope Funeral Service from 4:00p-7:00p.
