Linda Baylis

Linda Baylis (née Norris), aged 72, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, in Suffolk, Virginia. Born on February 5, 1952, Linda was known for her caring nature and vibrant spirit. Throughout her life, she was a beacon of kindness and a perpetual source of support, embodying the role of a confidante and friend to many.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kya Moné Connolly; grandson, Tye'rell William Turner; significant other,

Ricky; nieces, Heather Jones (Robert) and Hilary Jones; nephew, Heath Jones (Megan); great-nephew, Hayden Robert Frank Jones; and cousins, Joe Hamilton III (KimberLee) and Barbara Fouts. 

She was preceded in death by her father, William S. Norris; mother, Ruth Smith; and sister, Billie Gail.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date to honor Linda's memory.. Linda's warmth and generosity will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
