Obituary
On Monday, July 10, 2023, Mr. Micheal Parker peacefully entered eternal rest with family by his side. Micheal fought hard throughout his battle with cancer, until the very end.
Micheal was born to Fred and Betty Marie (Liverman) Parker on May 12, 1960. After graduating from Gates County High School, he relocated to Durham, NC.
Micheal was the life of the party, loved by everyone that came in contact with him, and a loving husband and father. He loved fishing, playing with his grandchildren, and being around family.
Micheal was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Liverman Parker, his brother Larry Parker, and his sister Linda Parker Adams.
Micheal is survived by his wife, Barbara (Allen) Parker; his sons Shawn Allen and Donovan Tolliver; his daughters Michelle Allen and Sherika Allen. He’s also survived by his father, Fred Parker; his sister Mary (Parker) Costen (Robert); and his brothers, Fred Parker, Dyrell Parker and Rubin Liverman. Seven grandchildren: Hakeem Allen, Maalik Rogers, Preston Green, Ariel Tolliver, Miah Rogers, Ny’hir Allen, Olivia Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 2 - 5 pm at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Monday, July 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Upper Room Assembly Church, Gatesville, NC.
