Ramona "Boo" Branch

Ramona J. Branch was born on February 12, 1952, the daughter of the late John and Virgie Elliott. She departed this life on January 9, 2024, in her home after a long illness.

Ramona J. Branch was a member of Greater Welch’s Chapel Baptist Church for many years. As a retired nurse, she dedicated a significant part of her life to helping and caring for others. It’s heartwarming to know that she contributed positively to the well-being of many people.

Ramona leaves to cherish her memories her husband, James E. Branch of Sunbury, NC; four sons, Timothy Jordan of Sunbury, NC, Taurus Jordan (Dorietha) of Edenton, NC, Tony Jordan (Angela) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Marcus Branch; one daughter, Tara Barrett (Calvin) of Gates, NC; five sisters, Hattie Elliott of Tyner, NC, Virgil Wrighton of Hertford, NC, Shirley Riddick (Armie) of Raleigh, NC, Juanita Parks of Tyner, NC, Jeanette Rouson (Curtis) of Edenton, NC; two brothers, David Elliott of Tyner, NC and Min. Wallace Elliott who preceded her in death.

She also leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her grandchildren, TyQuan, TiQuel, Leigh, Dorian, Tierra, Iman and Najah, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom loved and cherished her

A viewing and visitation will take place on Friday January 12, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home.

A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday January 13, 2024, 11am at Greater Welch's Chapel Baptist Church in Tyner, NC.

Final resting place will be at the Greater Welch's Chapel Baptist church cemetery.
