Obituary
Stephanie Y. Knight (BOOTICAT), 52, of Gates was called to eternal rest on February 3, 2023. Stephanie enjoyed going to get her hair and nails done faithfully. She also loved shopping. Stephanie was employed at Smithfield Packing as a Security Guard. She was a hard worker, devoted to her job and she enjoyed working.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Lana Perkins. and father, Charlie (Cookie) Knight.
Stephanie leaves behind a lifetime of memories to her three sisters: Stacy Turner (Willie Turner), Tameka Knight, Theodora Harrell and one brother Theodore Knight. Stephanie did not have any children by birth, but she was vital in the rearing of her nephew, Daniel Holland and her niece Arnasia Harrell, who she cared for as her very own. She also leaves behind a special friend of 29 years, Lonzia Williams, Jr., and good friends, Gilbert Langston and Latrenda Dillard, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate a beautiful life well lived will take place on Saturday February 11, 2023, 1pm at The Upper Room Assembly Church in Gatesville, NC.
