The staff at Community of Hope operates out of the hearts of the owners for sure! Community of Hope served our family during the transition of both of our parents and my brother! The professionalism that was displayed during these difficult moments left our family completely in amazement as to how services could be carried out paying close attention to our wishes! August 6, 2023 we lost my grandfather Leon Holley. Community of hope funeral home and staff stepped right in and helped us with all our needs. They made the process easier. My grandmother and family were very pleased with the work and patience they had with us. They made us feel like family.

We lost my mom, Elizabeth Ann Elliott, on July 29, 2022. Bryan and all the staff at Community of Hope was absolutely amazing, caring and patient with me and my family. No matter how many calls or text messages I sent, they were very polite and responsive. No questions were left unanswered. The Hunter Family and Community of Hope made this very difficult time for my family a little easier and that truly means a lot. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.

In Oct 2017 we lost our Dad. So on behalf of the Jordan Family of Henry B Jordan we would like to thank Mr. Bryan Hunter and family for the caring services that he provided to our family at that difficult time. His patience and understanding was greatly appreciated. We were very pleased with all the services. We will forever be grateful for all he did for us. Thank you so much.

My family was favored to have Mr. Bryan Hunter as our Funeral Director in 2014, due to the unfortunate passing of our loved one. We were privileged to have received the benefit of his gifts, talents, skills, abilities and overall exemplary service. From the initial meeting, we were comforted by his display of sympathy and extended condolences. We were reassured by his professionalism and careful attention to detail. The level of patience he rendered in answering all our questions, helped us arrive at the proper decisions. He made what could have been a laborious encounter, a comfortable process instead. To the extent possible, his care and assistance helped to alleviate a great deal of stress for our family. Mr. Hunter’s commitment to excellent service was consistently displayed throughout the nine days leading up to laying our beloved sister to rest. His passion, energy, dedication and leadership qualities made an enormous impact in our quest to have a celebration of life service befitting for our loved one. For the many sacrifices he likely made to serve us, we were/are eternally grateful.

On behalf of the Herman Hunter family, we would like to take the time to publicly thank Mr. Bryan Hunter for his extraordinary services rendered to our family during the passing of our loved one. We cannot thank him enough. We would not have known or trusted anyone else to render these services but him. Even though Mr. Herman was also Bryan’s father as well, he was strong and very professional in the midst of mourning himself and he made sure that all of our needs and requests were fulfilled. No decisions were made or carried out without an agreement and approval from the family. Bryan Hunter embalming skills are incomparable and we were well pleased at the way our loved one was presented. His passion and dedication to what he does allowed him to wear two hats during that time and we will never forget the sacrifices he made to make sure our loved one was well taken care of. Everything went so well and we could not have made it through that most difficult time without Bryan. Again, from the bottom of hearts, from the entire Hunter family, we say thank you. A job well done!

In February 2011 my family suffered the tragic loss of my mother Sandra Hudson Twine. We called the only person that we trusted. Bryan Hunter was very caring, paid attention to the needs/wants of my family, and was very knowledgeable about certain things when asked. He led us in the right direction and helped us to make the best choices when burying our loved one. He made sure that everything was beyond satisfactory for us and made the process easier. The day of the funeral Mr. Hunter was very professional and the service went on and flowed smoothly without any problems. Our loved one looked beautiful and was laid to rest beautifully also. To this day, my family still thanks him wholeheartedly for everything that he has done! We will never forget it.
